In January of 2017, Great American Peacemeal co-founder Erik Proulx reached out to his longtime friend Dana Satterwhite and suggested that, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., they sit down at the table of brotherhood and share a meal together.
Seemed simple enough. This single gesture of peace has since turned into a tradition.
Materials for Learning
Many educational materials in local languages are often out of date. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate and written in their primary language.
